These boats were developed based on the extensive fishing experience of our founder, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, off of the northeast coast of the US in the 1970’s and 1980’s. At Rev. Moon’s suggestion, the designs took into consideration the full 200 nautical mile range of the exclusive economic zones extending off of a host nation’s coast. In order to meet the needs of such offshore use, our boats were designed to be unsinkable and safe in the open ocean, recognizing that safety is of the highest priority.
